First of all: I recently shipped an original painting to the USA. The first time I have done so. And it cost me a fantastic and tasty £100, £90 of that was just on the shipping label alone. (ouch). So anyway, to get it out the way with:

Anyway, in other news I have been in a slumber for some months since christmas, and I find it difficult to pick back up on the social side of things. (make no mistake I have been producing many pieces of art in that time, i just haven’t been posting it) But I believe I have slowly been making amends of that in the past few days and psyching myself up to post more frequently, and also more quality content (no way!).
The website has also undergone some changes, minor quality of life improvements and streamlining, thanks to eBay for letting me know that links would become useless after the listing refreshes. lmao. That’s been mostly fixed by adding a link at the top of the shop page which just sends you to my eBay profile.
I also want to kickstart the ‘your art’ page which has been rebranded to ‘Community Gallery’. So if you are an artist and want to take part in that, get over there and submit your work to me. Otherwise I’m gonna put some effort into advertising that as short form content on my various pages. Right now I’m a little conscious that nobody will take part in that, but I’m kinda pushing for it to work because in the future I want to host art competitions and stuff for petty cash maybe, I’m pretty poor myself but I wouldn’t begrudge giving £10 to the winner of a little comp. I guess it all depends on what happens.
Also I want to write down that maybe I’d like to do an Art blog some time in the future, talk about other peoples work and such and such… Unsure how that would pan out but I do like thinking and writing.
