Unfortunely, due to my limited reach and ambitious goal (and also due to the fact I’ve been working pretty much full time during the course of the fundraiser therefore meaning I had little time to dedicate), we did not raise any money for Sarah to go see her exhibit in London. As of writing this, she made the decision to not go and use her money to buy a camera.
The paintings are still for sale on shop – originals, and if they sell the money will still go to supporting her, but as for a dedicated fundraiser, I feel a little embarrased that I was unable to do much. The original post is written below in strikethrough text, and her dedicated page has been taken down as not to decieve anyone. Thanks to everyone who at least viewed it and took some consideration <3
Hello all. Some exciting news. I’m hosting a fundraiser for my friend Sarah to see her exhibition in London. Her work was recently accepted into the UAL competition in London where her work will be exhibited but unfortuantely she cannot afford to go and see it. I wanted to do a nice thing and sell some of my artwork for cheap so that she can afford to go, there’s more details on the website page: Sarah’s fundraiser.
The deadline is the 14th, and the reward is getting to see some pictures (Which I’ll harass her to get) of the exhibit and her work. I also don’t want money for nothing, I’m selling some of my older artwork cheaper than it’s ever been so we can gather the funds for her. And yes! I do accept offers on my ebay page! Barter with me!
Any sale of the mentioned paintings or donations this week will go directly to her. If you can’t afford anything, that is totally fine, sharing the page or just telling someone helps a whole bunch.
Thank you,
Nathiola
