Sarah, also known as ‘Sadie Magpie’ is a real life friend of mine, and someone who I once shared a studio space with. Her craft was upcycling, turning junk into usable items. She is an experienced seamstress and is adept at repurposing any piece of fabric.
We have both since left said studio, but as a parting gift I painted her her very own portrait which now hangs in her living room, which, as she described to me, scares her whenever she walks in now.

The original of ‘Blue Weevil at the computer’ is now in the hands of proud reddit user ‘PM_YOUR_DMCA_CLAIMS’ which is a mighty interesting name. They were very lovely during the whole process and the piece now hangs above their computer. This marks the day that my work is officially international; being shipped to the USA.
